Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University Institute for Science, Technology and Society (STS Tsinghua) is one of the pioneers in China in academic research and teaching on science and technology policy and social scientific studies of science and innovation since the 1980s. It is the largest centre for academic research in these fields. STS Tsinghua Centre is part of the National Base for Innovative Study in Science, Technology and Society Development. It has existing research strengths in Information Technology standardisation and innovation.

Staff involved

· Professor Zeng Guoping is the Director of the STS Tsinghua centre, and vice president of Chinese Science of Science and S&T Policy Research Council.
· Professor Li Zhengfeng is Vice Director of the STS Tsinghua centre, Vice Director of the Science and Technology Development Strategy Research Council, and the Director of Science and Technology Studies Research Council in China.
· Dr. Liu Li is an Associate Professor at the STS Tsinghua centre.
· SU Junbin, Sun Xijie and Wang Chengwei are researchers and Ph.D. candidates.
